Gandhisagar Forest Retreat, an initiative by Madhya Pradesh Tourism and executed by Lallooji and Sons, is a flagship eco-luxury tourism project located near the Gandhisagar Dam. The retreat showcases the state’s commitment to sustainable tourism—offering guests a blend of nature, comfort, and culture in one of Central India’s most scenic forest landscapes.
Set amidst the lush wilderness of the Chambal region, the retreat promotes responsible tourism through eco-friendly stays, curated activities, and local community engagement. It serves as both a nature getaway and a destination that redefines outdoor hospitality by merging adventure, conservation, and cultural authenticity.
ABOUT
In 2023, I worked with Lallooji and Sons as part of the Destination Development team for the Gandhisagar Forest Retreat. My role involved exploring and researching the surrounding regions to identify potential tourism touchpoints and experiences that could enhance guest engagement.
I was responsible for creating photo and video documentation, developing itineraries, and producing brand content that visually and narratively represented the destination’s identity. Additionally, I contributed to designing on-ground guest experiences, ensuring that each activity resonated with the retreat’s eco-tourism vision and offered travelers a meaningful connection to the landscape.

Description
The Gandhisagar Forest Retreat Project focused on developing a holistic tourism experience that balanced luxury with sustainability. My work combined creative exploration with strategic research—identifying unexplored natural spots, cultural landmarks, and community experiences that could be integrated into the retreat’s offerings.
Through photography, videography, and narrative-driven documentation, I helped shape the brand’s visual storytelling and guest engagement strategies. My contributions supported the creation of detailed destination itineraries and on-site experiences for visitors, enhancing the retreat’s positioning as a signature eco-tourism hub in Madhya Pradesh.
This project strengthened my expertise in destination research, experiential design, and tourism branding, further deepening my ability to build meaningful travel experiences from concept to execution.
