DESTINATION DEVELOPMENT - LALLOOJI AND SONS
KUNO FOREST RETREAT

KUNO
Kuno Forest Retreat, developed by Lallooji and Sons in collaboration with Madhya Pradesh Tourism, is a nature-based hospitality project located near the Kuno National Park—one of India’s most talked-about wildlife conservation zones, known for the reintroduction of the Asiatic cheetah. The retreat is envisioned as a sustainable eco-tourism destination that celebrates the park’s biodiversity, local communities, and conservation success story.
Built on principles of responsible travel and eco-luxury, Kuno Forest Retreat offers guests immersive experiences in wildlife exploration, tribal culture, and natural heritage. It aims to connect visitors with the rhythms of the forest while promoting conservation awareness and community-based tourism.
ABOUT
In 2023, I worked with Lallooji and Sons as part of the Destination Development team for the Kuno Forest Retreat project. My primary responsibilities included exploring and researching nearby attractions, documenting natural and cultural assets, and producing brand content to define the destination’s identity.
I developed guest experience concepts focused on wildlife safaris, nature trails, and local tourism activities, ensuring they aligned with both the ecological sensitivity of the region and the retreat’s sustainability goals. Additionally, I contributed to creating visual content and itineraries that highlighted the blend of adventure, culture, and conservation unique to Kuno’s landscape.

Description
The Kuno Forest Retreat Project offered an opportunity to merge wildlife tourism with authentic cultural experiences. My role combined exploration, documentation, and creative storytelling—capturing the beauty of Kuno’s wilderness, the life of its surrounding communities, and the park’s growing prominence in India’s conservation narrative.
I worked on designing itineraries and experiential modules that introduced guests to the park’s ecosystem and heritage while maintaining a focus on responsible tourism. Through visual content and narrative development, I contributed to shaping the retreat’s brand communication and its positioning as a premium eco-tourism destination in Central India.
This project enriched my expertise in destination development, wildlife tourism branding, and sustainable experience creation, deepening my ability to translate natural spaces into curated, story-driven travel experiences.
